THE STORY
BASK was born out of a lifetime spent immersed in the building world. Founder Jim Peschek grew up in Gig Harbor, where construction wasn’t just a career path—it was a family legacy. From an early age, he was drawn to the quiet precision of job sites and the satisfaction of work done right. After earning his degree in construction management and honing his skills with large-scale developers in Seattle, Jim returned home with a vision: to create homes that didn’t just meet expectations, but redefined them.
Starting with one project at a time, BASK quickly became known for its thoughtful approach to both building and client relationships. It wasn’t about volume—it was about creating something enduring, tailored, and meaningful. Over the years, that same care expanded into the creation of intimate neighborhoods, where each home is shaped by its surroundings and built to a higher standard.
